Emmanuel Lewis: The Tallest 40 Inches In Hollywood

The American actor Emmanuel Lewis is a popular figure in Hollywood. The Changeling Boy in the Joseph Papp New York Shakespeare Festival Production of A Midsummer Night's Dream is a very popular actor in Japan as well as America. The 3' 6" tall is nicknamed as “The Tallest 40 Inches in Hollywood” by his fans.


Emmanuel Lewis was born March 9th, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York as the youngest son of Margaret Lewis. The youngest of the four siblings attended regular public schools in Brooklyn. He initiated his notable acting career in TV commercials for such products as fruit juice, cars, stereos, glue, soup, toys, coffee, pudding, pizza, and, of course, Burger King.

He is best known for having played the title character in the 1980s’ television sitcom Webster. The show depicts the life of a tiny African-American boy being raised in a white family. The show also secured him the nickname –Webster.

The popular acting career secured many nominations for Emmanuel Lewis too. He was nominated for four Young Artist Awards. However his physical size combined with his age made his Hollywood clout all that more incongruous.

Emmanuel Lewis founded his own musical label called Emmanuel Lewis Entertainment. He is said to have a black belt in karate and is a martial arts expert. He also is a student of Billy Blanks' Tae-Bo.
